Short biography:
Santino "Alexian" Spinelli is an Italian Roma musician, composer, poet and essayist.
He has a degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures and in Musicology, both obtained at the University of Bologna.
He teaches Languages and Intercultural Processes (Romany Language and Culture) at the University of Chieti.
He has published musical scores for orchestra, ensemble and solo accordion with the title of Romano Drom (Romany Caravan) with Ut Orpheus of Bologna and has given concerts with the European Orchestra for Peace in the Council of Europe.
Within the ROMED1 phase of the ROMED Programme, Mr Spinelli ensured the training on the module of the Training of Mediators concerning Roma and Sinti culture and history.
