The next MFF in Bulgaria, 2014-2020
The European Commission recently published the Summary of the Partnership Agreement with each EU member state as well as a fact-sheet concerning the Cohesion Policy for the next MFF (Multiannual Financial Framework 2014 - 2020).
In 2014-2020, Bulgaria will manage seven operational programmesunder EU Cohesion Policy. Of these, four programmes will be funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Cohesion Fund, two programmes will receive funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) including the Youth Employment Initiative and one programme will be funded by both ESF and ERDF.
The main priorities of the recently concluded Partial Agreement include:
- Education, employment, social inclusion and healthcare for inclusive growth;
- Scientific research, innovation and investment for smart growth;
- Connectivity and green economy for sustainable growth;
- Good governance and access to quality administrative services.
