Founder, President and Artistic Director of the GTO LX, The Theatre of the Oppressed Group in Lisbon, Portugal. The GTO LX is a non-profit organisation working with arts as a means for intercultural dialogue and social empowerment.
Graduated in Business Administration from the Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany, Gisella has worked with ethnic minorities in Portugal since 2004. Her work concentrates on the social and political participation of ethnic minorities, aimed at fostering individual and social empowerment. Since 2005 she has been responsible for training at GTO LX, with national and international experience.
Project Coordinator of the “Community Trainers Programme” aimed at developing and strengthening trainer competences among youth leaders from ethnic minority backgrounds.
Fluent in German, Spanish, Portuguese and English. Good in French.
